A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah Tolbot AKA Miss Tea who runs a local catering company. Every time we chat the passion she has for food is clear.
What is also striking about Miss Tea is how sustainability is embedded within her business. This has now been taken one step further, with the introduction of doggy box’s which we’re launched by the Sustainable Restaurant Association earlier this year. Miss Tea is the first business in Cornwall to take up the “To Good To Waste Campaign” and it is a fantastic example of how all businesses, not matter their size can do their bit!
The Doggy Box is made from 100% recycled and biodegradable materials (suitable for recycling and composting) and can be used within the catering industry to allow diners to take home left over food. Thus eliminating food wastage!
